This feature may not be available on all computing systems. Please check with the system vendor to determine if your system delivers this feature, or reference the system specifications (motherboard, processor, chipset, power supply, HDD, graphics controller, memory, BIOS, drivers, virtual machine monitor-VMM, platform software, and/or operating system) for feature compatibility. Functionality, performance, and other benefits of this feature may vary depending on system configuration.

System and Maximum TDP is based on worst case scenarios. Actual TDP may be lower if not all I/Os for chipsets are used.

Max Turbo Frequency refers to the maximum single-core processor frequency that can be achieved with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology. See www.intel.com/technology/turboboost/ for more information.

See http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/architecture-and-technology/hyper-threading/hyper-threading-technology.html?wapkw=hyper+threading for more information including details on which processors support Intel® HT Technology.

Check http://ipt.intel.com/ for systems that support Intel® Identity Protection Technology (Intel® IPT).

Processors that support 64-bit computing on Intel® architecture require an Intel 64 architecture-enabled BIOS.

Intel processor numbers are not a measure of performance. Processor numbers differentiate features within each processor family, not across different processor families. See http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/processors/processor-numbers.html for details.

Some products can support AES New Instructions with a Processor Configuration update, in particular, i7-2630QM/i7-2635QM, i7-2670QM/i7-2675QM, i5-2430M/i5-2435M, i5-2410M/i5-2415M. Please contact OEM for the BIOS that includes the latest Processor configuration update.

Intel has released a new integrated graphics (GPU) driver bumping the version up to 24.20.100.6286. The driver is compatible with sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-generation processors as well as some older Pentium, Celeron, or Xeon CPUs with Intel HD Graphics 500 or better, and comes with game optimizations.

According to the release highlights, this driver update has performance improvements and optimizations for World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth on systems with a sixth-generation Intel CPU or better. As for new features, these are listed below:

  • Performance improvements and optimizations for World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth* (for both DirectX* 11 and 12 versions) and Jurassic World Evolution* on 6th Generation Intel® Core processors or higher
  • Playability improvements for Vampyr* and Monster Hunter: World*
  • Media streaming improvements while using the AVC* codec at low bitrates for 6th Generation Intel® Core processors or higher
  • Power optimizations when dynamically switching to lower refresh rates during video playback
  • Security fixes and improvements

This driver update contains quite a few fixes, listed below:

  • Steam* overlay may not work in Dota 2* when running in Vulkan* mode
  • Minor Graphics anomalies may be observed in Titanfall® 2 (6th Gen Intel® Core™ Only), Minecraft*, and LEGO NINJAGO* Movie Video Game
  • Intermittent crashes or hangs may occur in Unravel 2*
  • While using two displays, the arrangement settings in Windows* may reset if the resolution of the second display is changed.
  • Inaccurate color may be observed during YouTube* playback in web browsers when hardware acceleration is turned on
  • Sketchup* application may become unresponsive
  • Stereoscopic 3D may not work when viewing a 3D video
  • Remote desktop protocol (RDP) and Virtual Network Computing (VNC) applications show a black screen when updating the graphics driver in guest user mode

Perhaps notably, Intel has fixed inaccurate color being shown with YouTube playback when hardware acceleration is enabled, which is the default setting for the major (Chrome, Edge, and Firefox) browsers, which should please those suffering from that bug. It's also a good reminder to check and re-enable the setting for hardware acceleration in your browser if you were affected.

And finally, here are the known issues:

Intel Hd Graphics Driver Pentium N3530

  • Minor Graphics anomalies may be observed in Monster Hunter: World*, Stonehearth* and other games
  • Windows Advanced Display Settings may show incorrect bit-depth on some primary monitors which leads to inaccurate colors.
  • Virtual machine (VM) session may go blank when running some 3D benchmarks and YouTube* sessions

Intel also recommends that people keep their drivers up to date with the Intel Driver & Support Assistant, as a side note, the assistant will never recommend updates for custom Intel drivers that were installed by device manufacturers such as Dell or HP.
