- [Instructor] Hello, my name is Leon van den Heever and welcome to this Learn Thea Render, The Basics course. This course is a beginners course aimed at those new to Thea Render. A bit of information about Thea Render, from their website, the product is marketed as being a state of the art render engine. And this claim is due to Thea offering both a biased and unbiased render engine with the ability to use either CPU or GPU processing, or a combination of both, maximizing your hardware utilization. Thea Render offers a bountiful material system, allowing you, for the most part, to use the same material for either the biased or unbiased engines. Thea Render has not been limited to Windows users only, and is also available for both Mac and Linux operating systems. It is a physically-based solution, able to achieve great quality and realistic renders within very fast render times. What is it?
Adobe illustrator download windows 10. Thea Node is an auxiliary network utility software for rendering. The application runs as a console application and does not have a user interface. A Thea Server is needed for it to work.
How to set it up?
- Download the Thea Node application from the Downloads page.
- Installing it on every machine on your network acting like render nodes.
- Start the Thea Node on all the render nodes. A console window will pop up waiting for instructions (scanning local network for projects) from the server in the local network.
Starting a Network Rendering
Thea Render 2.0 Download
- Open SketchUp, Rhino or Cinema 4D.
- Enable Network Rendering from Thea Render Settings (see next paragraph)
- Start rendering in Production Mode.
- Open the Thea Rendering window.
- Switch to the Rendering Tab in the Settings Panel.
- Enable network rendering from the Network Rendering section.
- Open Render Settings and select Thea Render.
- Go to the Distribution section of the General tab.
- Enable network rendering by selecting either Server or Pure Server from the Network drop-down.
- Open the Thea Render panel (Thea Render > Render Settings)
- Go to the Network / Performance section of the Render Settings tab.
- Enable network rendering by selecting either Server or Pure Server from the Network drop-down.
